If you’ve been keeping up this month, you’ll know we’ve been diving deep into the power of routines this month. Especially routines that help you get your day off to a GREAT start.
I thought it might be helpful to see what my own personal morning routine looks like! I’ve had this same basic routine for the past 5 years, give or take the start time by an hour depending on what my training schedule looks like that day/week/month.
My #1 priority for my own morning routine: make sure I’m fueled and ready to go for my morning clients, because if I’m asking them to ‘take charge,’ I better be ready to “take charge” too!
5:30 a.m. – Wake up and do a couple of stretches from the side of the bed
5:35 a.m. – Feed Cali (my pup), get dressed, brush my teeth, do my hair
5:45 a.m. – Fill my water bottle, grab my pre-made breakfast, and head on out to train my first client of the day
6 a.m. – Start training!
Your routine will probably look different than mine!
What makes it work for me is that it’s fast and simple, which allows me to catch as many zzz’s as possible every night.
