Laying Bricks...Or Building?

Three bricklayers were working side by side on a construction site.
When asked what they were doing, the first one sighed and said,
👉 "I’m laying bricks."
The second one shrugged and said,
👉 "I’m building a wall."
The third one smiled and said,
👉 "I’m building a cathedral."
Same work. Same materials. Completely different mindset.
So let me ask you this…
When you’re prepping a meal, getting in a workout, or choosing to put your health first—which mindset do you have?
Are you just checking off a task (bricklayer #1)…
Reaching for a short-term goal (bricklayer #2)…
Or are you building something bigger—something that truly matters (bricklayer #3)?
Next time you find yourself going through the motions, pause and ask:
What am I really building here?
Because when you start seeing the bigger picture, those small, daily choices suddenly feel a lot more meaningful.
